Varietal: 100% Xarel.lo. Vines are between 30-40 years old.
Terrain: A warm, mild, coastal climate combined with a sandy, permeable soil and plenty of rainfall (36 inches), make this a perfect region for growing white wine varietals. Xarel.lo, not that well known to the American consumer, is better recognized as one of the three varietals that make up the region’s leading product, Cava.
Harvest: Hand picked and selected twice: initially in the vineyard, with a second selection on receipt at the winery.
Ageing: Fermented on the lees in stainless steel.
Bottling: Bottled on the property.
Serving Temperature: Between 41º and 55º F
Alcohol Content: 11.5%

Terrain: A high altitude plain (above 1,400 feet), close to the mediterranean, typically hot in summer with a bitterly cold winter. The soil is clay with pebbles, with little or no organic material. Rainfall is less than 16 inches per year.

Varietal: 100% Viura. Vines are between 40-80 years old.
Terrain: Labastida, in the Rioja Alavesa, can be found at the highest, most northern edge of Rioja, were climactic conditions are nearly ideal for wine production. The soil is a mixture of clay and limestone, and is made up of mostly southwest facing terraces. Average rainfall is slightly over 15 inches per year.
